Adjusting children and infants is a specialised field. The care taken when adjusting children is fundamental to making safe, effective corrections to their spine and nervous tissue.

What’s Involved?

Infants and children have supple and sensitive yet remarkably robust spines. Often the techniques used on adults may not be effective or appropriate when dealing with children. Paediatric specific techniques rely on analysis of neurological findings, birth history, physical examination and palpation of the spine joints.

Adjustments require very little force to apply. Having your child’s nervous system assessed is one of the greatest gifts you can give. It can really be the fork in the road. A subtle change now can mean vastly different outcomes later in your child’s life.

Is it Safe?

Absolutely. The Hipocratic oath states “first do not harm”. The techniques used on children are gentle but most importantly incredibly effective when dealing with challenges relating to traumatic births, forcep delivery, injuries associated with falls or missed childhood milestones. We focus on safety first. It is the very least we can do to deliver quality, effective care for your children.
